Abstract

|
연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 대사증후군 위험군의 가족기능과 건강행위의 관계에서 질병인식의 매개역할을 파악하기 위함이다.
방법: 본 연구는 횡단적 상관관계 연구이다. 자료는 질병인식도구, 가족 APGAR, 건강행위측정도구를 사용해 자가보고식 설문조사를 통해 160명으로부터 수집했으며, SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 사용해 Pearson의 상관관계분석, t-test, 다중선형회귀분석으로 분석하였다.
결과: 건강행위는 가족기능(r=.30, p<.001)과 치료적 조절력의 질병인식(r=-.21, p=.007)과 유의한 상관관계를 가졌다. 가족기능은 건강행위와 질병인식의 유의한 예측요인이었고, 가족기능이 건강행위에 미치는 영향은 치료적 조절력에 대한 질병인식의 영향에 의해 부분적으로 매개되었다.
논의: 본 연구의 결과는 가족기능이 건강행위와 질병인식에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인임을 의미하며, 치료적 조절력에 대한 질병인식이 가족기능과 건강행위의 관계에서 매개체로 작용하는 것을 나타낸다. 따라서, 대사증후군 위험군의 건강행위를 증진시키기 위해 지지적인 가족기능을 향상시키고 질병인식을 개선할 수 있는 심리인지적 중재프로그램의 개발이 필요하다.

Purpose: This study aimed to examine the mediating effect of illness perception on the relationship between family function and health behavior of patients with risk factors for metabolic syndrome.
Methods: This is a cross-sectional correlational study. Data were collected from 160 patients using self-administered questionnaires including the Illness Perception Questionnaire-Revised, Family APGAR, and the Health Behavior Scale. The data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficients, independent t-test and multiple linear regression analysis by the SPSS 23.0 program.
Results: Health behavior was significantly correlated with family function (r=.30, p<.001) and illness perception of controllability by treatment (r=-.21, p=.007). Family function was a significant predictor of health behavior and illness perception, and the influence of family function on health behavior was partially mediated by illness perception of controllability by treatment.
Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate that family function is a critical factor affecting health behavior and illness perception, and illness perception of controllability by treatment mediates the influence of family function on health behavior. It is necessary to develop a psycho-cognitive intervention program for enhancing supportive family function and for modifying negative illness perceptions to improve health behavior in patients with risk factors for metabolic syndrome.
